Currituck Kids is committed to the idea that even one positive childhood experience may touch a child's life forever.   We strive to provide that positive experience.

April Bennett, FOUNDER & CHAIRMAN

Our sponsors are leaders in the community who understand the importance of addressing the needs of the "whole child" to better their chances of a healthy and fulfilling educational experience. They know that every child has the right to an education and Currituck Kids helps in this endeavor. With our help, the children of Currituck County will have better days that will lead to a better future.
Since 2008, Currituck Kids has provided basic needs such as:
  • Food
  • Clothing
  • Shoes
  • Eyeglasses
  • Hearing Aids

We've also helped with expenses associated with:

  • Summer Camps
  • Field Trips
  • Musical Instruments
  • Sporting Activities

How we help.

It takes a team of dedicated volunteers to make certain our organization is reaching out to as many children as possible. We're fortunate to have some of the best, most dedicated volunteers giving their time, energy, and expertise to our cause.
Our mission is to provide basic provisions to children who are enrolled in Currituck County Public Schools to enhance their educational experience and ensure they reach their full potential with dignity and respect.
